ISDE Subsidy: Save on heat pumps, insulation and ventilation
The Investment Subsidy for Sustainable Energy (ISDE) helps homeowners make their homes more sustainable. From heat pumps to insulation: receive hundreds to thousands of euros back.
What is the ISDE subsidy?
The ISDE is a Dutch government subsidy for homeowners who want to make their homes more sustainable. The scheme reimburses part of the costs for heat pumps, insulation measures and energy-efficient ventilation. The ISDE runs until December 31, 2030 and is applied for at RVO after installation.
Who is the ISDE for?
- Homeowners / private individuals
- Owners of existing homes (not new builds)
- Homeowner associations (VvE)
- Landlords of residential properties
Conditions
- The home must be in the Netherlands
- It must be an existing home (not new construction)
- Installation by a certified installer
- Apply after installation, within 12 months
- The measure must meet RVO technical requirements
How much ISDE subsidy can you receive?
- Heat pump (air/water): from €1,025 + €225 per extra kW
- Heat pump (ground): from €500 base amount
- Insulation: amounts depend on type and m², double when combined within 24 months
- Energy-efficient ventilation: €400 (new in 2026)
- Combination bonus: higher reimbursement for multiple measures
How to apply for the ISDE?
Have the measure installed
Have a certified installer install the heat pump, insulation or ventilation.
Collect documents
Gather invoices, installation reports and product specifications.
Application via RVO
We submit the application at RVO with all required documentation.
Receive subsidy
After approval, you receive the subsidy in your account.
